The unfortunate incident that took place today (21) has led to the death of the renowned gynecologist Shantha Mayadunne and her daughter, Nichanga Mayadunne.
They were killed by an explosion in Shangri-La Hotel in Colombo.The two are facing the accident by taking breakfast.
Ms. Shantha Mayadunne is an artist who has worked closely with ITN all the time.She always did her best for our female programs.We are deeply grieved over her sudden death.
